The Ridge Bed and Breakfast

Unique Styled Private Rooms

The Ridge Bed and Breakfast established in 2016 is a modern, stylish and comfortable home away from home. We are safely and securely situated in the exclusive and tranquil suburb of Southridge Park.

The Ridge B & B is close to the N2 highway that runs between East London and Durban, and is just a 10 minute drive from the centre of town, and a 15 minute drive from Mthatha Airport.

For our corporate travelers, The Ridge B & B is also conveniently closely situated to the newly revitalised Vulindlela Heights Industrial Park. The park is an industrial area that comprises of a mixed tenants of manufacturers, services and suppliers of various products for the local market.

Accommodation

The Ridge offers seven uniquely styled private rooms for the individual traveller or up to fourteen individuals sharing to accommodate larger groups. The rooms are modern, incorporated with fine fabrics and a pristine finish. Each room has a microwave, kettle and bar fridge, and coffee, tea and sugar is provided. Rooms are serviced daily and is equipped with DSTV and free WiFi.

Good value

I had the good fortune to book myself into this establishment and after my mediocre experience at another hotel, this place really exceeded my expectations, after staying at a "preferred destination" which turned out to be "never to go back".
The rooms though small was clean and had everything you needed in a place away from home. Bar fridge microwave etc. Beverages were plentiful.
Will definitely be going back there. In comparison with "the preferred destination" price wise the costs were outstanding.
